KEIJI ASHIZAWA DESIGN

The OBON CHAIR, characterized by its rounded seat and generously sized backrest, is named after the Japanese tray “obon.” While simple in appearance, it is designed to fit the body firmly. Its soft, enveloping curves gently receive the sitter, allowing it to harmonize with various types of furniture and spaces. The seat is available in two versions: bent wood or upholstered with a cushion. Made with practicality in mind, the chair can be disassembled into four parts for compact and efficient packaging.
