KEIJI ASHIZAWA DESIGN

This bench was designed for the Blue Bottle Coffee Shibuya Cafe, located in Kitaya Park in Shibuya. Made as a two-seater for enjoying coffee in the park, its depth is carefully calibrated to allow Blue Bottle’s serving trays to be placed vertically. By positioning a tray between two people, the design enables a shared yet intimate moment, allowing guests to enjoy their coffee comfortably despite the bench’s compact footprint. Lightweight and stackable, it is designed for daily movement between the cafe and the park, making it easy to carry, store, and set up as needed.
