A slit is cut into a thin polypropylene sheet, and suspended. Direct light through the slit is blended with diffused light passing through the frost-textured sheet to softly light your desktop and the ceiling. The idea was originally developed in 2008 as 'Gravity Light', which at that time used a steel sheet which sagged with its own weight. A brand new form has resulted this time thanks to the translucency of polypropylene, although the idea of using gravity to define its form remains. When it easily returns to its flat state, it’s extremely lightweight and space-saving enabling easy transportation.
